Strong Tips on Finding Authentic Happiness

October 22nd, 2009

For most people, authentic happiness is a subjective thing, much as beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  No matter the objects and subjects of happiness, however, there are a few “strong tips” to help individuals like you find happiness.

Strong Relationships

Whether you realize it or not now, strong relationships with family and friends as well as your romantic partner are the basis for authentic happiness.  This well-known fact of life has basis in both science and economics.

According to scientists, strong relationships boost our immune systems, hence, providing better protection against diseases and stress.  And when you are healthy, you are most likely to find authentic happiness.

According to the economists, you will need $80,000 in disposable income to make up for not having friends. Why? Well, because you will feel lonelier, hence, spend more money on therapy and antidepressants!

To achieve strong relationships, you need to cherish your family, your friends and your partner by spending time with them and making them happy.  You are sure to receive the favor in return and then there will be authentic happiness all around.

Strong Sense of Volunteerism

Authentic happiness may be harvested from the fruits of your volunteer labor.  Of course, this does not mean hard labor for indeed nobody likes to be a slave to labor.

Instead, you can volunteer your time, talents and touch of empathy towards helping others.  You can volunteer in nursing homes for the elderly and shelters for orphans and the homeless, join civic organizations that extend assistance to the community and individuals, and help a random person in need as well as your family and friends.  You will find that in your journey in authentic happiness, you have made others happy, too. And this will double, even triple, your feelings of fulfillment and highs of happiness.

Strong Sense of Spirituality

You do not have to be overtly religious to attain a strong sense of spirituality, far from it.  You just need to find your own brand of spirituality that you feel comfortable with.  The important thing is that your spiritual beliefs respect those of other people’s convictions, respect being one of the pillars of authentic happiness.   Plus, it helps to have inner peace.  When you are at peace with yourself, you are more likely to be at piece with others.  Again, you have come full circle with authentic happiness.

Strong Sense of Self

Most important in the journey for authentic happiness is a strong sense of self.  You must cultivate your talents and abilities (strengths) while coping with your flaws and faults (weaknesses).  Better yet, you may transform your faults and flaws such that these, too, can become your strengths.

When you know who you are, you are better able to maintain strong relationships, give of yourself to others, and believe in your uniqueness as a spiritual being.  And when you have all these, authentic happiness is just within reach.

Your authentic happiness is in your hands, make no mistake about it!  Visit www.happyessence.com today and find other strong tips to attain authentic happiness in your life.

Authentic Happiness – What is it and how to find it

July 7th, 2009

Not many people find happiness in their lifetime. However much they look and try to find their happiness it simply eludes them and keeps them feeling incomplete, frustrated and sometimes, miserable. Being happy for many people also defines their whole being - their careers, relationships and family life. This is why it is very important for all most all people to know where they can find authentic happiness.

Authentic Happiness

The definition of happiness varies from person to person. How you can say that you are happy may not be the same standards of being happy for another one. But how can you say that what you are feeling and experiencing is in fact authentic happiness? Is it just the same the other forms of happiness? What are the things or instances that make you genuinely happy?

All these questions when answered from the heart can especially help you in finding real happiness. Not the kind that is shallow and can be derived from owning material things or the short term happiness, finding the authentic kind of happiness would start from the simple things you do for yourself and for the happiness of others.

Finding Happiness

Many people covet this elusive state of well-being, but not many are able to finally attain that good feeling about ourselves. But becoming a happier person should be hindered by all the failures and heartaches that you experience along the way. Some experience may affect you state of well being and keep you from feeling happy. However, there are simple things that can help you finally find authentic happiness.

For one, pursuing strong, lasting and committed relationships with family and friends is a crucial part of finding authentic happiness. Romantic relationship also plays a part in finding relationships. So try to cherish family ties and enjoy looking for that special someone. Cherish your partner as well and work on having a lasting and strong relationship.

Avoid the headaches of economics and financial issues. One of the best ways in finding authentic happiness is to learn and appreciate our blessing and not aiming for the material gratification. Being rich doesn’t really constitutes being happy so be happy in your job not because of the salary you get but of the gratification that you feel in your achievements and success.

Also set interesting goals which will help you find your strengths and abilities. Keep boredom away from your life and look into hobbies and interests that will broaden your horizons and keep you occupied. And then, always look into the brighter side. We all experience downsides in our everyday lives, but having a positive attitude and a sense of humor will set everything straight and reduce stress and anxiety. And these are just some of the best ways for you to find authentic happiness.

The Perfect Plan to Achieve Authentic Happiness

July 1st, 2009

There will be a hoard of advice that you can get on this topic; authentic happiness is a subject that appeals to many because of its universality.  Every body wants to be happy and that is one fact that will never change.  Additionally, each and every one of us deserves to be happy.  Just imagine how better the world could be if everyone can truly say that they have achieved their bliss. Well, here is an advice that you probably would not hear too often – know what makes you happy by being alone.

Authentic happiness is not something that can be associated with every little thing that surrounds you.  In fact, if anything else, the material stuff and struggle to be accepted by the people around you results in depression and loneliness. The constant hankering for a bigger house, a nicer car, a higher salary, and to rub elbows with the rich and famous and the seemingly long road to them can cause you to forever be dissatisfied with your life.  Before you decide on the “things” that can add to your authentic happiness, be a happy individual first.

In order to know that you have achieved authentic happiness, you need to recognize the fact that loneliness is also a very real feeling.  You can never know how happy you are unless you have felt how it is to be lonely.  And because you never want to be in that sad state again, you can resolve to stay happy intrinsically.

Whenever you feel caught up in the hurricane of all worldly desires, stop; you should primarily be a person who is sure of who you are.  There are so many things that can influence you on how to think, what to think, and when to think that you lose yourself and that begets loneliness.  If you are already happy to begin with, nothing can pull you towards sadness.

“Alone” is not a lonely term; if you can smile and find humor in your own life, then you can say that you have authentic happiness in your hands. When you leave your room, nothing can take that existing joy in your heart away from you. And this emanates from you, infecting the people around you which only make the whole world a whole lot better.

Aside from being an intrinsically happy person, you should also realize that elation is different from constant feelings of happiness. There will be times that you will be brought an almost – nirvana; enjoy it while you can, savor the moment and keep a piece of that with you all the time.  These moments will serve as your stockpile; a source of strength to smile even more every day.

There are many meanings attached to the term authentic happiness; but the best definition would be the one that you have realized on your own. More questions on how to be happy? Check out www.happyessence.com

Becoming More than Happy

March 27th, 2009

A lot of people in the world have a high-end goal to stay physically fit and healthy. Nobody can deny that the feeling of being healthy everyday will keep their happiness constantly up.

Staying physically fit and healthy for a longer life can be difficult and not all can smoothly go through the effort of exercising and eating healthy every day. So the tendency of what people do is learn to accept it and be happy that they are living fine and doing the things they love.

However health problems can arise when they are least expected. Let’s say your day today was happy and then all of a sudden you got injured. Some people can accept injuries and still keep a smile on their face while most people would let their injuries to ruin their day and make them crave for pain reliever. Sure, a painkiller can do the trick in relieving that pain and as a result, makes them happy again.

Painkillers are known to have their side effects and provide temporary relief. This signals a fact that there may be some point of time where unhappiness can strike again at any moment when more pain is endured. The cycle repeats on and on and a smooth flow of happiness is never sustained.

Aiming high for authentic happiness means that you are working hard every day to sustain your full health so that you will no longer have fears in getting injuries or sicknesses. This doesn’t apply to just health goals, but just about any goal that you have in life that will grant you happiness. Always aim for the authentic relief and not something that can build happiness temporarily. Become more than happy and never lose it again. http://www.HappyEssence.com

Authentic Happiness

March 19th, 2009
Have you ever experienced how it is like to finally become happy one moment of your life? Just about all people can easily say that it marks a very pleasant moment in their lives. Sometimes people tend to say that it is too good to let go and that is where the fear starts to develop. And when there is fear, there is a feeling of uneasiness or stress and that can ruin your happiest moments. The solution to these problems is by reaching out towards authentic happiness.  Authentic happiness may not be a familiar term to most people and in reality, few people actually reach to a stage when they are considered to be authentically happy. When was the last time you were authentically happy?  To better understand what authentic happiness is, it can be defined as:

 True happiness

A state that you know that you will be happy the following days, months, and years

A type of happiness that is not affected by any conditions whatsoever

A happiness that doesn’t depend on the happenings of other situations

Happiness that is never feared to be lost

Never lose your happiness again. http://www.happyessence.com

Authentic Happiness: Why It Matters

January 2nd, 2009

When you finally found the happiness that you were looking for, the next question would be on how long you would want it to last.  It may depend on you or the actions or external forces all around that can dramatically affect the present scene.  It is known as temporary happiness when you have gotten a taste of happiness and lost it later. When you know you have happiness and you know it is yours to keep, then that is when you can say that it’s authentic happiness.

Sure, it is okay to lose happiness when you can find it again, but authentic happiness matters a lot more than you think.  Think about all the constant efforts that are done to get it back or the so-called short term fixes for that temporary relief.  If you keep on letting it go and finding it again, you know that there isn’t one period where you are fully contented with what you have.

Having an authentic happiness means no fear of ever losing it because you know you are fully contented with what you have right now.  The reason why it matters so much is because unlike the temporary forms, there is no element of sorrow in the equation.

It can also be a bit difficult to reach for some people because whenever people reach a level of happiness using a too good to be true method, they would start to rest easy until a next downfall occurs. The causes of these possible downfalls are simply the rushes in trying to build a quick and cheap solution.  It’s like building a house for your home too fast – If you rush it, the lesser the lifespan is and more likely to collapse making it a temporary home over time.

Authentic happiness takes a process of building a road towards happiness that is carefully planned out with all the sides being looked through.  It is a matter of knowing where you are and knowing where you want to go and seeing if it is what you truly want without any doubts or consequence.

Listing every possible solution and running through that in your mind is the trick to achieving it.  All it takes is some imagination and evaluation.  Don’t just look a few days ahead, but look far beyond years and secure yourself with your decision so you will never have the need of backtracking and finding another pathway to your desired happiness.  It is a rewarding experience and it even lets you begin even more pursuit of happiness from there.  As you progress, you will discover more ways to create additional happiness and bring enjoyable experiences to your lifestyle.

See why happiness is not enough and why authentic happiness can do you well. http://www.HappyEssence.com
