Becoming More than Happy

March 27th, 2009

A lot of people in the world have a high-end goal to stay physically fit and healthy. Nobody can deny that the feeling of being healthy everyday will keep their happiness constantly up.

Staying physically fit and healthy for a longer life can be difficult and not all can smoothly go through the effort of exercising and eating healthy every day. So the tendency of what people do is learn to accept it and be happy that they are living fine and doing the things they love.

However health problems can arise when they are least expected. Let’s say your day today was happy and then all of a sudden you got injured. Some people can accept injuries and still keep a smile on their face while most people would let their injuries to ruin their day and make them crave for pain reliever. Sure, a painkiller can do the trick in relieving that pain and as a result, makes them happy again.

Painkillers are known to have their side effects and provide temporary relief. This signals a fact that there may be some point of time where unhappiness can strike again at any moment when more pain is endured. The cycle repeats on and on and a smooth flow of happiness is never sustained.

Aiming high for authentic happiness means that you are working hard every day to sustain your full health so that you will no longer have fears in getting injuries or sicknesses. This doesn’t apply to just health goals, but just about any goal that you have in life that will grant you happiness. Always aim for the authentic relief and not something that can build happiness temporarily. Become more than happy and never lose it again. http://www.HappyEssence.com

Using the Art of Happiness to Your Benefit

March 13th, 2009

Let’s say you dislike cooking because it is too complicated and you are afraid to commit mistakes. Well if you force yourself to cook due to influences around you, you may not be happy on what you are doing and in the end produce bad dishes. Bad results can lead to pessimism and lowered self-confidence and that doesn’t contribute to happiness at all. Avoiding it can allow you to focus on other things like drawing and preserve your happiness.

There is a fact though that a lot of people love to cook and that gives you the impression that you should like it, too. These other people may accept their cooking even if they are not good at it because they see it as something they can live by and still manage to do all the other things that keeps them in a happy state.

Maybe in your case, bad cooking is difficult to accept, but like drawing, cooking is an art. If you change your attitude towards cooking and see it as a work of art, you can use your knowledge in drawing and improve yourself in becoming better in cooking and appreciate it. This will make you happy not only because of your love for drawing, but also because you learned to love cooking as well just by using your art of happiness. Happiness is truly a powerful art and when used the correct way, you can utilize it to add more benefits to your daily routines.

March 6th, 2009
Did you know that happiness is an art? It is something that is not necessarily found, but it can be rather something that you can create. Try to view it as finding yourself because that’s exactly how happiness is discovered. The primary source of happiness comes from inside of you and practicing the art of happiness can let you tap out that inner happiness in you and use it to overcome any situation.
Always remember the five rules that govern the art of happiness:

1. Enjoy the things that you like doing

2. Avoid the things that you dislike doing

3. Change the things that you dislike if you cannot avoid them

4. Accept the things that you dislike if you cannot avoid and change them

5. Change your attitude toward things that you dislike if you cannot avoid, change, and accept them

All of these five fundamental rules can allow you to use the art of happiness to your personal benefit. Try out each rule one by one and you will see the unbelievable effects it can make to your day.

If you love to draw, by all means go and enjoy drawing and use that talent as a stepping-stone to becoming a famous artist. Imagine what kind of happiness you can attain if you just focus on your passion and not let anything else stop you.
